About
Richard Johansson is a New York City classical guitarist devoted to the guitar music of 19th-century Vienna, a golden age of the instrument whose composers, Giuliani, Mertz, Regondi, and von Call, he champions on today's concert stage.
A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, on WQXR, and at festivals across the country. He is also the founder of the Manhattan Plucked String Academy.
